Calf digest enhances the appetite of calves and helps to treat their diarrhea. Calf digest contains the effective probiotic enterococcus faecium M74 with a concentration of 1x 1011 CFU per pellet. E.faecium has a proven effect against the bacteria that cause diarrhea. They revitalize the intestine and regenerate the intestinal flora. Calf digest contains a special buffering substance that enhances the pH value both in the blood and in other tissues, as a result of which the pH returns to normal levels and the appetite is restored. This procedure shortens the treatment time and restores the ability to take in food more quickly.
Product usage time:
Calves with diarrhea often lose large amounts of fluids and electrolytes. his causes dehydration and a drop in pH in their body. At the first signs of symptoms of anorexia and diarrhea we immediately administer a bolus of Calf digest. After a few hours the animal will show an improved mood and start drinking liquids again. We continue to administer a bolus until the diarrhea stops and his normal appetite returns.
Method of administration:
With the special Sano pelleting attachment: Place the Calf digest inside the special attachment. Lift the animal’s head and insert the attachment into the mouth up to the neck. Release the ball and carefully remove the part. Observe whether the animal has swallowed the pellet.
Without the Sano pellet delivery attachment: Place the pellet as far into the animal’s mouth as possible. Keep his mouth closed until he swallows the ball.
